About Me

As a first-generation Latina, I have always taken pride in accomplishing what previous generations couldn’t. Raised by an immigrant single mother who gained her citizenship, I witnessed her work ethic and sacrifices she made, which have now shaped my drive to succeed in ways that honor her struggles. I am the second person in my immediate family to earn a bachelor’s degree (graduating in May 2025), and that achievement drives my dedication to creating opportunities for others in my community.

Throughout my academic journey, I made a point to engage in extracurricular activities that helped me develop key skills. Balancing academics with leadership roles in on an executive board for the Hispanic Latino Student Association, leadership programs and more, taught me time management, effective communication, and collaboration. These experiences also helped me build a strong sense of responsibility and showed me how to collaborate with diverse groups of people to achieve common goals.

My academic journey, combined with a strong work ethic, discipline and motivation, has equipped me with resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to give back. Through my studies, I honed critical skills in problem-solving, leadership, strategic thinking, and more that have prepared me to excel professionally. The ability to successfully juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards was shaped by the same discipline and drive that allowed me to graduate and overcome obstacles.

Additionally, learning the disciplines of business ownership has given me valuable insight into managing finances, marketing, strategic planning, and problem-solving—skills that will not only serve me in my career but will also play a key role in helping me achieve my future personal goals. Whether I decide to start my own business, invest in real estate, or pursue other entrepreneurial ventures, these lessons will provide a strong foundation for making informed decisions and building sustainable success.
